My good buddy of the blogging variety Owlie bag tagged me a few days ago and here I am, finally getting back to her. (sorry, PDO! Thanks for being so super awesome!)
Here are the rules:
1) Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you cannot go up to your closet and pull out that cute little purse you used back before you had kids. I want to know what you carried today or the last time you left the house. No cheating!
2) I want to know how much it cost:) And this is not to judge. This is for entertainment purposes only. So spill it. And if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, I’d love to hear it.
3) Tag some chicks. And link back to this post so people know why the heck you’re showing everyone your bag.
So, here's the pic:
As for pricing, this bad boy cost me...a plane ticket to PA. Kind of. It was a gift from T's mom for Christmas - it was perfect because I'd just been telling T how I need a gargantuan purse now that I have to carry 5,000 teeth things around with me all the time (note previous invisalign posts). In high school and through most of college I always carried those postage stamp sized bags, but alas, I am (I suppose) an adult now and need to carry a big girl purse. So, there it is. I love it. I can fit all sorts of goodies in there (totally feel like Mary Poppins), the strap is thick and comfy on my shoulder, it's a perfect length so if I want to carry it in my hand it doesn't drag on the floor, the bag is adorable, AND it gives off the illusion of not really being as big as it is! My only sadness is now that spring's coming, I want to have something more colorful. That, and the sides of it are knit sweatery stuff so it'll get all mangy if I carry it for too long. In a couple weeks I think it'll be relegated to the closet, to get pulled out again this fall. Oh well. It's had a great run.
Here's who I'm tagging:
Have a good Tuesday!
