Yesterday's Drive up the 5

Yesterday morning the alarm went off at 4:45am. T and I packed the car and were on our way. This is what happened for the next 7 hours:

Some random groves I didn't recognize.

Grapevines, perhaps?

Rolling hills. Lovely.

The hills got bigger as we went further north.


How could anyone mind this drive?

Almost there...

And we arrived. Checked in, and went for a little hike.

T's only response to this sign: "Wild pigs. That can't be good."

I need to get back to listen to this lecture about Exceptional Human Experience (EHEs). As in, telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, psychokineses, etc. Very boring, can't you tell? ;)
